'Greedy People' movie review: Joseph Gordon-Levitt steals the show in this crime comedy

It stars a scene-stealing Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the role of Officer Terry Brogan. The story is about Police officer Will Shelley moves to a small island town with his pregnant wife, Paige.

While at the hardware store, Paige encounters a hitman known as the Irishman. On his first day at his new job, Captain Murphy introduces Will to his new partner, Terry Brogan. The rest of the drama unfolds with pulsating tension and panic.

Director Potsy Ponciroli creates chaotic situations and casts the right actors who can infuse all their tenacity into those chaotic situations.

For all those who are tiring of banal cash-grabbing vanity projects that only make noise at the ticket windows, this crime comedy comes as a breather despite some flaws in the story. Go check it out! Rating: 3 (out of 5 stars).
