The team, led by Meghkumar Gandhi , deputy mamlatdar, stopped the tempo near Lilesara bypass on Friday evening during patrolling. Later, a mob gathered at the spot and gheraoed the officials. Two of the accused blocked the govt vehicle by placing their bikes on the road, hurled abuses at officers, and threatened them with dire consequences. NV Patel, deputy superintendent of police, said that the complaint was lodged against five people, including the driver, the tempo owner, the accused who were on their bike, and another person who was part of the mob that threatened the officials.

"We have arrested two people and others will be caught soon," he said. The accused were booked for obstructing a public servant in the discharge of their duties, threatening injury to a public servant, and other sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS)..
