Srinagar, Apr 05: National Conference (NC) senior leader and advisor to chief minister, Nasir Aslam Wani today reaffirmed his party’s commitment to working within the legal and constitutional framework laid down in Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act.Speaking to reporters, he expressed his resolution to work under J&K Reorganisation Act 2019 that govern administrative functioning in Jammu and Kashmir.In a reply regarding recent meeting of NC legislators and its allies in government post transfer of middle-rung officers in J&K administration by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, he said the elected government is well aware about its domain and jurisdiction.

He said the stand of elected government over issues is clear and we have already shared what was taken up in the meeting which was headed by chief minister Omar Abdullah.On April 4, Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah chaired an emergency meeting of party legislators and other ruling partners in Srinagar, and focused on strategizing the upcoming political developments and reinforcing the party’s stance on the restoration and constitutional rights of J&K. The meeting also reviewed current political scenario, ongoing developmental challenges and coordination with Lieutenant Governor-led administration.
