The government has blacklisted 12 contractor companies and suppliers, barring them from participating in procurement and bidding processes for periods ranging from six months to three years. The decision was announced by the Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) through a notice issued today, based on written statements from various public agencies. The PPMO's action is in line with Section 63 (1) of the Public Procurement Act, 2063 BS.
Among the blacklisted entities, some face a three-year ban, while others are restricted for one year or six months, depending on the severity of the violations.
