Government sets target to boost foreign reserves to $15.1 billion by 2028 – President

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake announced that the government aims to increase the nation’s foreign exchange reserves to USD 15.1 billion by 2028. Speaking in Parliament today (18), the President conveyed his assurance that his administration would continue to govern the country through 2028.
