Scrambled eggs are one of the ultimate weekday meals, ideal for breakfast, lunch or dinner. But even though they take just minutes to whip up, they can be the hardest to perfect. However, Gordon Ramsay and Thomas Keller shared their ultimate tips for making the "fluffiest" scrambled eggs ever.

The celebrity chefs revealed a simple utensil swap can make all the difference when it comes to upgrading the breakfast staple, and most people already have it in their kitchen. Shared on Happy Egg, both chefs believed that the secret to fluffy eggs starts before you even add them to the pan. They recommended beating the eggs with a whisk instead of a fork because the extra prongs create more air flow.

By aerating the eggs properly, it helps create a fluffier end product. When cooking the eggs, the chefs also suggested using a rubber spatula to gently move them around a non-stick pan, which again increases the amount of air and helps to create the fluffed-up eggs. Other tips included using high-quality eggs, and adding a tablespoon or two of milk, sour cream, heavy whipping cream to the egg mixture.

This supposedly helps the eggs stay moist, avoiding the dreaded overcooked and dry texture that can often happen. One of the most important things is to have patience. Even though scrambled eggs are an easy nutritious meal, they shouldn't be cooked at a high heat.

Its best to cook them on a low heat settling to allow them to cook slowly. To make sure the eggs don't overcook in the pan, you could also add a cold dollop of some dairy to the pan to reduce the temperature, and keep the eggs moist..
