Republican strategist Sarah Longwell minced no words with her damning description of the 2024 presidential campaign currently being run by GOP nominee Donald Trump and his running mate JD Vance. “This is the most vicious, despicable, lie-filled campaign I’ve ever seen,” Longwell told CNN ’s Jake Tapper on Wednesday. “And that is comparing it to what was a pretty significantly indecent campaign that Donald Trump ran in ’16 and ’20,” Longwell added.
