Google has released Gemini Ai app for iPhone and the social app claims for itself to be a strong contender to Apples’ Siri and can bring AI capabilities to iOS ecosystem. The free app is now available in 35 languages and can be downloaded from the App Store. Unlike with Google Assistant through the Google app, a web browser, and so on, users can install the Gemini app to communicate with the chatbot via text, voice, or even camera.
One of the flagship features of this app is Gemini Live, which provides an advanced voice conversation experience. It is for natural and continuous conversations; users can shift from one topic or speak over another in the middle of a word, a milestone towards achieving interaction-realism. A choice of ten AI voices is available to users, making personalization possible for greater user satisfaction.
Besides the chatbot, Gemini AI app is connected to Google’s giant list of services so it is not simply an application. Another key functionality is the Live Activity feature, which lets users keep conversations active even while using other apps or when their iPhone is locked, making multitasking more convenient. While the Gemini AI app doesn’t offer system-level control, as Siri does, its integration with Google’s ecosystem enhances functionality.
