Google has a history of adding fun Easter eggs to Search, like 3D animals, dinosaurs, the Chicxulub meteorite, and The Last of Us. Now, the tech giant is back with another exciting Easter egg that lets users catch Pokémon right from Google Search. It’s a playful nod to nostalgia that makes browsing even more fun!Searching for a specific Pokémon on Google Search activates a Poké Ball that appears in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Tap on the Poké Ball to catch the Pokémon that appears. You’ll be treated with a quick animation of the Pokémon getting caught.You can try this on Android, iOS, or mobile web browsers.

You can search for “Pokémon” to access an introductory experience.Every Pokémon you catch is saved in a Pokédex. The Pokédex keeps track of your progress and shows outlines of the Pokémon you haven’t found yet.

If you want to save your progress, make sure you’re signed in with your Google Account.As you keep catching, you’ll earn Master Balls. These special balls are used to catch rare Legendary and Mythical Pokémon.
