Google Pixel owners now have a new reason to share their love for the device with friends. The Google Store has launched a Pixel Referral Rewards program , offering a win-win for both referrers and new buyers. If you’re a Pixel user, you can earn $50 in Google Store credit for every friend who purchases a Pixel phone using your referral code.
Meanwhile, your friends will enjoy a 10% discount on their new device. The program allows participants, dubbed “Code Givers,” to share up to 10 referral codes. Each successful referral adds $50 to their Google Store credit balance, capped at $500 in total earnings.
It’s a straightforward process: generate a referral code from the program’s landing page and share it with your friends via email, text, or any other messaging platform. Google says it provides tools to track the status of each code, so you can easily see which ones have been redeemed. For “Code Receivers,” the 10% discount applies to the highest-priced Pixel phone in their cart at checkout.
However, there are some restrictions. The discount can’t be used during peak sales events, like Black Friday or new product launches, but it can be combined with other eligible offers. Each referral code is single-use, so it’s important to ensure your friends redeem it quickly.
Not every Pixel user is eligible to join the program immediately. Google has emailed select Pixel owners to invite them, with plans to expand the program to more users in the future. To qualify, you must have owned a Pixel device prior to the program’s launch and opted into receiving Pixel-related emails.
Rewards are credited approximately 30 days after the referred purchase, once the return period has passed. Each Google Store credit issued through the program remains valid for 12 months, giving participants ample time to redeem it for new gadgets or accessories. The Pixel Referral Program runs until June 30, 2025, so there’s plenty of time to spread the word and maximize your rewards.
