As reported by Android Authority, this update grants users of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold access to a unique capability that allows simultaneous use of both cameras during a meeting. This enhancement may facilitate greater participation in video conferences, as it eliminates the need for multiple individuals to crowd around a single laptop. When activated, other participants will be able to view the user through the front-facing camera while also observing the surroundings in front of them.

Google initially introduced this feature during the unveiling of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold in August. However, its deployment has only recently commenced. It is reported to be accessible to users with both personal and workspace accounts.

Staff members from Gadgets 360 confirmed its availability on the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Last month, the technology company based in Mountain View began the rollout of an artificial intelligence (AI) feature known as ‘Take notes for me’. As indicated by its name, this feature utilizes Gemini – Google's large language model (LLM) – to transcribe and summarize key points during meetings.

This feature was first showcased last year and remained in beta until its official launch in August. It is represented by a Gemini AI icon located in the top-right corner of the Meet interface. By default, the feature is set to take notes only, without transcription.
