New Delhi, September 16: Google is reportedly working on a new feature that will allow users to transform their research notes into AI-generated podcasts. The recent development is associated with Google's NotebookLM, a tool that was introduced by Google last year. This tool has the capability to summarise information and establish connections between different topics.
Google is said to be testing a new feature called Audio Overview in its AI note-taking application, NotebookLM. The feature will likely allow you to convert your research into AI-generated podcasts. As per multiple reports, Google's new tool, “Audio Overview”, is expected to transform your documents into audio chats between two AI hosts. NotebookLM, the AI note-taking application by Google, already uses the Gemini AI model to summarize research. Now, with the new podcast feature, users are said to convert their research into audio format. To try out this feature, users can open a notebook in NotebookLM and choose the "Audio Overview" option.
Google has reportedly mentioned that the generated podcasts will not provide a comprehensive or objective view of a topic. Instead, they will appear as a representation of the user's notes.
