After starting earlier this week , Google has rolled out the redesigned Keep for Android “Quick capture” widget. Per Android’s latest Tier 1 guidelines , the widget background hits “all four edges of the bounds of the [homescreen] grid.” Previously, it was just the left/right edge for a shorter design.
Everything is now placed in buttons, with that previously only being the case for the ‘plus.’ The shortcut for creating a new text note is now a vertical pill, while it’s a rounded rectangle for list, audio, drawing, and camera . The 5×1 configuration has all the buttons, but the 4×1 might not have a camera shortcut.
