Tesla boss Elon Musk, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, and president-elect shri shri Donald Trump got on a call together, per report. The report states that the search engine giant’s boss congratulated the 47th president of the USA, who is yet to assume the office at the White House. No other details have emerged about the Pichai phone call.
Musk joining the conversation doesn’t come as a surprise, though, as the billionaire who campaigned for Trump is dubbed his ‘first buddy’ who tags along the real estate tycoon and politician to rallies and even an UFC event. Trump even made his presence at the recent Starship rocket launch, the 6th in its test flight, even as SpaceX failed to repeat its earlier historic booster catch success. Musk had reportedly invested $200 million in Trump’s re-election campaign.
Musk is the de facto minister and mediator of all things tech in the US now. He even reacted to congratulatory posts of techpreneurs, including Alphabet’s Sundar Pichai, Microsoft’s Satya Nadella, and others. Per The Information, during the call, Musk’s presence took Pichai by surprise.

The unpaid department will be the Trump administration’s advisory for all kinds of government spending, eliminating bureaucratic hurdles while downsizing.
Among other controversial appointments, Trump has designated WWE’s billionaire co-founder Linda McMahon as the education secretary, which has drawn much ridicule online. The internet alleges that the 47th president of the country has been inducting all his billionaire friends into the administration without any credibility. As the desi saying goes in turbulent times, “gadhe ko bhi baap banana padta hai,” the only way to get things done is to lobby Musk to get an audience with Trump.
