Goodyear recalls certain Cooper Discoverer tires due to safety concerns

- The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is recalling Cooper Discoverer Stronghold AT tires, size LT275/65R18, due to missing production date codes. This recall, identified by NHTSA Recall ID 25T006 , impacts tires that do not comply with safety standards. Without the 4-digit week and year code mark, it becomes challenging to determine the tire's production date.



This can lead to prolonged use of tires that need replacing or the continued use of recalled tires, increasing the risk of a crash. Goodyear will replace the affected tires at no cost to the owners. Notification letters are set to be mailed by May 31, 2025.
