Goods train derails in UP's Mathura, affecting Agra-Delhi route; restoration ops underway

At least 20 coal-laden wagons derailed near Vrindavan, disrupting train operations between the national capital and Mathura. The freight train was headed to the Suratgarh Thermal Power Plant in Rajasthan. The derailment occurred at 8:18 PM between Vrindaban Road and Ajhai railway stations in the Agra division of the North Central Railway zone.
