A kind-hearted act by a Good Samaritan touched many hearts after he helped an elderly woman he saw on the street. Recently, a Facebook user Miel Oli shared the story and photos of the woman he treated to a meal at a fast-food chain. The post quickly went viral and garnered various reactions from the online community.
According to Miel, he was on his way home from work when he spotted the elderly woman at a stoplight. She was pushing a wheelchair and struggling to cross the street, as no vehicles were stopping to let her pass. Miel couldn’t shake the feeling of concern as he watched her.
Even after driving past her, he felt compelled to go back and help. He asked his ride to turn around and follow the woman. Upon reaching her, Miel approached and asked if she had eaten.
The woman, clearly hungry, told him that she hadn’t. He immediately invited her to join him for a meal at a nearby fast-food restaurant. The elderly woman was moved to tears, thanking both Miel and God for the opportunity to eat.
As they walked together, the woman proudly shared with nearby construction workers that she was about to eat at the fast-food chain. The Good Samaritan was overwhelmed with happiness, realizing that what seemed like a small gesture to him meant so much to the woman.
