This marks the second Golden Globes ceremony since its longtime backer, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, was of all the HFPA’s assets, rights and properties by Dick Clark Productions and Eldridge. Instead of the HFPA, a racially and ethnically diverse group of voters — made up of journalists representing countries from around the world — selects the nominees and winners.
