Newly engaged Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple are starting new holiday traditions after getting engaged on the debut season of The Golden Bachelorette . The couple, both 61, shared photos on social media as they decorated their Christmas tree, including a special ornament to mark their 2024 engagement. The couple hung a custom ornament that features their names, along with a copper velvet ribbon.

" Joan wrote in the caption. "Special thank you to my friend @kateslaytonlettering for this beautiful custom ornament!" She added. The ornament was placed on a frosted tree, alongside white stockings personalized with the names of their children and grandchildren.
Joan has four children from her late husband, John, and two grandchildren. Chock has two children from his previous marriage to Heather Chapple. Their Christmas celebration comes just weeks after they got engaged during the Golden Bachelorette finale in Bora Bora.
