Golden Bachelorette fans can breathe a sigh of relief, as the show’s couple, Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple , are both safe after a horrifying D.C. plane crash that saw no survivors.
The crash occurred late Wednesday night over the Potomac river as a Black Hawk helicopter crashed midair with an American Airlines flight heading from Wichita, Kansas . However, following the concerns, both took to social media to alert their fans that they were okay and had not been on board the flight. Joan shared an update via Instagram Stories on Thursday. “Just wanted to let everyone know that @chockchapple and I are both safe,” she wrote.
“Thank you to everyone who messaged and checked in on us.” “We are absolutely heartbroken over the news of the plane crash,” she added. “Our hearts are with the families and friends of the people on the flight.
” Chock also released a statement on his own account. “My heart goes out to everyone impacted by the tragic plane crash,” he wrote. “I’m praying for our city during this difficult time.
