Over the years, Thalapathy Vijay has cemented his position as one of the greats of not only Tamil Cinema, but also all over India. The superstar is all set to move into the world of politics post his last film, which will be directed by H Vinoth . The film is tentatively titled Thalapathy 69, and the makers released a poster for the film with the caption, 'The torchbearer of Democracy'.

Coming to his penultimate film The Greatest of All Time ( GOAT ) , directed by Venkat Prabhu, it has set the box office on fire when it comes to the home state of Tamil Nadu. The film has already crossed Rs 200 crore mark by minting Rs 203.95 crore in 14 days, and even its Telugu contribution has been steady with Rs 10.

9 crore. However, it is the Hindi version that looks a bit disappointing, as over 14 days, the film has minted only Rs 14.6 crore, and hopes to cross Rs 15 crore mark before the start of the weekend.

The collection is way below Vijay’s last release Lokesh Kanagraj ’s Leo: Bloody Sweet, which had minted Rs 22.65 crore in the same time, but way better than Rajinikanth ’s Jailer, which had collected only around Rs 5 crore in Hindi. In fact, Goat even trails Mani Ratnam ’s Vikram and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Ponniyin Selvan 1’s Hindi numbers, as it collected Rs 19.

43 crore in 14 days, and Ponniyin Selvan 2 had collected Rs 14.68 crore in the same time..
