The Gnosis Bermuda National Championships 2025 kicked off with exciting action at the Bermuda Squash Racquets Association Club in Devonshire. Day One saw several closely contested matches, with two encounters requiring a fifth set to determine the winner. In the men’s open division, Dylan Pratt emerged victorious after a marathon battle against Charles Riker.

The match went the distance, with Pratt ultimately prevailing 12-10, 8-11, 11-9, 9-11, 13-11 in a thrilling contest that showcased both players’ skill and determination. The men’s C division also witnessed a five-set thriller, with Andrew Marsh edging out Hugo Rogers 12-10, 9-11, 6-11, 11-7, 12-10. The match was a rollercoaster of momentum swings, with both players fighting hard to gain the upper hand.



In other matches, top seed Taylor Carrick advanced comfortably in the men’s open division, defeating Elijah Simmons 11-2, 11-2, 11-4.
