Good Morning Britain chose a strange way to present a Eurovision interview on Monday as Richard Madeley and Charlotte Hawkins welcomed on the singers from Sweden, trio KAJ. Charlotte said that they were in "quite a mystical world" in the ITV studio, as she and her co-star returned from the break and were surrounded by smoke and steam with calming sounds playing in the background. Richard said: "We should be in dressing gowns, with a towel wrapped around your head!" His co-host went on to explain that GMB had been trying to recreate the effect of a sauna in the studio, saying: "This is our world of spa and wellness, with a sauna behind us.

There's a reason for this, as with just over a month to go until the Grand Final, Europe is gearing up for the Eurovision Song Contest and Sweden is already topping the bookies odds as this year's favourites with their steamy tribute to Nordic culture." She went on to explain that they are entering the competition with their song Bara Bada Bastu, which translates to "just take a sauna". The ITV hosts then welcomed Kevin, Axel and Jacob - the singers who make up the Swedish act - as they chatted about their song choice.

As the chat went on, smoke continued to fill the studio with all five of the people on screen surrounded by steam - leaving fans at home absolutely baffled. Taking to X (formerly Twitter) one fan quizzed: "I know we’re talking about a sauna but why do we need all the fake steam on the screen? #GMB." Another complained: "The song is already annoying the hell out of me #GMB," while a third fumed: "Just a heads up Peppa Pig is on Channel 5, far more entertaining (and I have no young kids).

...

" As the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 approaches, all 37 competing songs have been unveiled, setting the stage for an exhilarating showdown in Basel, Switzerland. The 2025 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on May 13, 15 and 17 at the St. Jakobshalle.
