Good Morning Britain fans were left up in arms after spotting one major segment noticeably missing from the morning roundup on the news show. During Wednesday's visit (November 6) to the ITV studios, Susana Reid and Ed Balls woke up the nation with some of the day's most pressing stories. This included the news of Queen Camilla's sudden illness and the surprising changes to Glastonbury Festival's ticket sales.

But arguably the news on everyone's lips was the result of the 2024 US election . At the time of writing this article, Donald Trump is close to winning his second term in office with an impressive 266 votes to Kamala Harris ' 188. The morning show pulled out the big guns to mark the occasion and dedicated 80 per cent of the show to covering the results the second instalment of the week.

And it's fair to say some viewer's were disappointed about the morning line up with one daily segment missing from the show. Taking to X - formerly known as Twitter - fans fumed over the lack of weather coverage and local news on the programme. One user penned: "Have I missed the weather and our local news ? #GMB" as another agreed: "Tbh rather than the US election stuff I'd rather know what the weather's going to be like where I actually live #gmb.

" A third echoed: "Don't get this much coverage for a UK electtion, meanwhile - what's the weather over Oxfordshire going to be today? Any British news? #GMB" as a fourth chimed in with: "#GMB Are we going to get news from the UK today?"
