GMA HOLY WEEK 2025 SPECIALS – Here is a guide on the religious programs that are set to be aired by the Kapuso network this Lenten Season. Countless Filipinos are devoted Roman Catholics who greatly observe the Holy Week. This year, the Holy Week started last April 13 which was the Palm Sunday.
This religious event is a commemoration of the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Every Holy Week, many Filipinos spend their time in prayer and participating in the activities of the church. Countless Pinoys return to their home provinces as the Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Black Saturday are constant holidays every year.
Government offices already expect a surge of the commuters amid the Holy Week. Pres. Bongbong Marcos has already issued his Holy Week 2025 message for the Filipinos .
Aside from spending their time in prayer and in joining church activities, many Filipinos also watch religious programs and shows on television.
