Jonathan Roumie as Jesus in “The Chosen.” GMA Network will be among the networks that will commemorate the Holy Week by featuring reflective films and programs for Filipino viewers. On Maundy Thursday, April 17, GMA opens its airing with the biographical animated film “The Story of Jesus for Children” at 6 a.
m. This will be followed by a lineup of animated movies including “Flushed Away” at 7:30 a.m.
, “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip” at 8:30 a.m., and “Space Jam: A New Legacy” at 10 a.
m. At 11:30 a.m.
, GMA will air the Biblical epic “Noah,” followed by the docu-feature “My Mother, My Story” featuring Sparkle artist Jillian Ward at 1:30 pm. Viewers can then watch the religious drama series “The Chosen” at 2:30 p.m.
, then catch the award-winning documentary program “The Atom Araullo Specials” at 5:30 p.m. The GMA’s flagship newscast “24 Oras” will air at 6:30 p.
m., followed by “The Ten Commandments” and the long-running documentary program “I-Witness” at 7:30 p.m.
