Our weekly round-up of pictures taken across the county includes a cosy walk in the Forest of Dean and stunning reflections in Cheltenham. Children in Gloucester have also been working hard getting their lanterns ready for the Tree of Light display. There's nothing quite like watching the sunrise on a crisp, winters morning, is there? Weather watcher, 'Space Walker', has been uploading their sunrise and sunset pictures to us - and this was too good (and cute) not to share.

Gloucestershire is full of beautiful walking spots and this is certainly one of them. Local photographer Rich Davis shared this whilst on a walk in the Forest of Dean. This particular spot is Crabtree Hill Plantation.

Back on track: Thousands gathered at Cheltenham Racecourse on Friday as the action began at the November Meeting. Children in Gloucester have been getting themselves ready for the Tree of Light festival this week ahead of the lantern parade. Coney Hill Community Primary children have been working on a giant snail to parade the city.

The sun has been shining this week, amongst the grey cloud, and this shot shows off the reflection at Pittville Park in Cheltenham perfectly, with the autumn sunshine mixing well with the clear blue sky. Our Creative Journey is an exhibition that has been put together by eight people with Huntington's disease in Gloucestershire. The art installation, which took place at St John the Baptist Church in Cirencester, highlighted the importance of art for improving people's wellbeing.

So many businesses, charities, family and friends have been raising money for BBC Children in Need this year. That includes Sunshine Dance and Wellbeing in Cheltenham who were dancing the morning away on Friday and baking plenty of Pudsey biscuits to share. Well done, team! A peaceful and calm Bourton-on-the-Water to round things off for this week.

A perfectly still shot we couldn't help but share..
