Giulia teases a mysterious ally after failing to secure the NXT title from Roxanne Perez

Giulia continues her quest for the NXT Women’s Championship after an initial defeat, forming an alliance with newcomer Stephanie Vaquer. Giulia and Vaquer attacked Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade, hinting at another title challenge. Cora Jade previously helped Perez retain her title against Giulia.

Image via: WWE Giulia is seemingly cooking something big to get what she wants. The NXT superstar previously failed to claim the NXT Women’s Championship during the Black and Gold brand’s CW debut. While Perez retained the championship, Giulia teased a new ally as she called the mysterious person an old friend during a backstage segment on the October 8 episode of NXT.

During the October 8 episode of NXT, the star was having a conversation with Sarah Schreiber backstage, at the moment someone knocked on the door to which Giulia said, “Hello, old friend.” While it was not immediately revealed, later her team-up with Stephanie Vaquer unveiled the previously teased mystery.



During the episode, Roxanne Perez stepped into the ring to for a promo to reflect on the latest events in the women’s division. Cora Jade returned to NXT after a nine-month hiatus. However, despite their past falling out over championship ambitions, it appears the two have reconciled their differences, with Cora even complimenting Roxanne's newfound ruthless phase.

The duo allied and declared their intent to dominate the women’s division in the days to come. However, there was a looming threat Perez seemingly ignored. When the Champion and Cora were back on the same page, Giulia interrupted.

However, the real surprise came with the WWE debut of Stephanie Vaquer, a highly regarded wrestler from Mexico, who aligned herself with Giulia. Vaquer stood alongside Giulia as the duo stormed the ring, launching a vicious assault on Roxanne and Cora. Later, they picked up the title and looked at each other teasing that Giulia is going after Perez again.

Roxanne Perez ruined Giulia's debut title match in WWE during Tuesday's NXT premiere on The CW, successfully defending her NXT Women's Championship against the Japanese star. Jade played a crucial role in the victory. Midway through the match, Jade pulled Giulia out of the ring and hit a DDT on the outside while the referee was distracted.
