WILLMAR — Noelle Becker and Marin Wallestad secured first-place finishes for the Willmar girls swimming and diving team against Detroit Lakes. The visiting Lakers won the Central Lakes Conference dual 105-78 on Thursday at Willmar High School. Becker, a junior, won the 50-yard freestyle at 26.

Becker also took second in the 100 freestyle at 1:01.80. Wallestad was the winner in the 100 backstroke.
The Cardinals freshman touched the board at 1:07.69. She also placed second in the 200 individual medley at 2:33.
64. Willmar’s 200 freestyle relay, featuring Becker, Hurley, Kaelyn Swenson and Amelia Tauber, won in 1:52.97.
