Girl raped and woman harassed by 'same man' prowling parks in West Yorkshire

The force has issued an image of a man after a girl was raped in a park in Keighley

Police have issued an image of a man they want to find after a girl was raped in a park and a woman was sexually harassed. The woman was harassed by a man in Cliffe Castle Park on Thursday, August 29, between 1pm and 3pm. The girl was raped nearby in Devonshire Park on Friday, May 3.

Police believe both attacks could be linked. The description of the man involved in both is similar and is described as Asian or Eastern European, 6ft tall, of skinny build, aged around 19, with pale skin and dark hair, a moustache and a stubbly beard. During the August attack, he was described as wearing a black coat.

"Officers have issued an image of a male they would like to speak to in connection with an offence of sexual harassment of an adult female which took place in Cliffe Castle Park on Thursday August 29 between 1pm and 3pm. "They also want to speak to a man following a serious sexual assault on a young female which took place nearby in Devonshire Park on Friday May 3.
