It was something that wasn't doing to me, you know, in some way.

' 'But I think people can get in the habit of that. I think it's an easy habit to get into, and just kind of put it in a box.' The star also revealed how practicing intense yoga on a daily basis helped her to snap out of it.

She said: 'There was a period of time I'd been single for a while. I was living in Los Angeles. I was between relationships and maybe early 30s.

' 'And I just started to do really intense Ashtanga yoga on a regular basis. And I felt more connected to myself and my body than I ever had before that I think in my life.' She then told Anna how once she started yoga training regularly, people tended to gravitate more towards her.

She confessed: 'There was a period of time where people were just popping up out of the woodwork.' ' During the podcast, host Anna and Gillian also discussed the importance of fantasy in relationships. Anna asked Gillian if people in the real world should cultivate their fantasy lives while in a relationship. To which Gillian admitted that sexual fantasies in a relationship are 'healthy' and can only 'bring people together'.

She confessed: 'No, I think a fantasy life in a relationship is really healthy. I mean, some people can't reach climax without a fantasy helping to get them there.' 'I would also say that sharing it with one's partner is an incredibly healthy thing to do and can potentially enhance the sex that a couple can have,' 'If you feel that you can put yourself in a vulnerable enough position to be able to share it, because they're very intimate details, and it can only bring people together.

' While discussing her new book Want: Sexual Fantasies By Anonymous, Gillian admitted that submitting her own fantasy to the book anonymously took her a 'while'. Admitting she felt resistance to doing so, Gillian said: 'I felt resistance — I'd get a certain distance, and I'd felt resistance to writing down words that I would say willy nilly,' 'That could fly out of my mouth in completely inappropriate situations, yet somehow, actually putting them down on paper, and it wasn't even that then I was going to press Send, and they were going to land with somebody at my publisher's.' 'It was just the writing of it down.
