Feb. 14, 1931 — March 11, 2025 Gilda Lunett Garrison passed away peacefully on Monday, March 11, 2025, in the Twin Falls at the St. Luke’s MVRMC.

She was 94 years old. Gilda was born February 14, 1931, in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Annie Tuttle and R. Glenn Arrington.



Gilda grew up on a farm in Twin Falls, Idaho. She was married to her sweetheart, Harold Junior Garrison on June 27, 1948, in Twin Falls. They were sealed in the Boise, Idaho LDS temple on March 24, 2000.

Gilda spent most of her life as a stay-at-home mom to her six children. Gilda was a faithful and lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was an accomplished cook, seamstress and homemaker.

One of her greatest joys in life was working in her yard tending to her flowers and vegetable garden. When her children were grown she got a job at the hospital in environmental services. She worked hard and soon became the supervisor.

Gilda was preceded in death by her parents, nine siblings and their spouses, her husband, and her daughter, Cynthia (Bob). She is survived by her brother, Lee; sons, Larry (Patty), Jay; daughters, Shelia (Kenneth), Leanna (Robert) and Christina (Rex); 21 grandchildren; and many many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.

m. Saturday, March 15th, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1134 North College Rd W., Twin Falls, Idaho, with a viewing prior from 10 to 10:45 a.

m. at the church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 2296 Kimberly Rd.
