Gilat Satellite Networks secures over $5M contract for U.S. Department of Defense

Gilat Satellite Networks ( NASDAQ: GILT ) announced that its wholly owned US-based subsidiary, DataPath Inc., received contracts in support of the US Department of Defense for core terminal-related services, technology insertion, and upgrades to systems, cumulatively worth over $5 million. DataPath is committed to the sustainment and technical upgrades of multiple Satellite Transportable Terminal (STT) units, ensuring these critical assets continue to support and enhance the effectiveness of military operations.

In addition to this, DataPath will also focus on upgrading existing satellite communications equipment and aim to streamline operations, making the equipment leaner and more efficient for our men and women in uniform to use.
