Radisson Hotel Colombo, Radisson Hotel Kandy, and Radisson Blu Resort Galle have welcomed Gihan Vithana as the new Cluster Director of Food and Beverage (F&B). With over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, Gihan brings extensive expertise in culinary arts, operations, and guest experience to this important role. Gihan’s career highlights include leadership positions in some of the region’s top hospitality establishments.
Most recently, he served as Director of F&B at Shangri-La Colombo, where he gained global recognition for the hotel’s restaurants and led award-winning culinary teams. His early experience as a chef has given him a deep understanding of menu creation and kitchen operations, helping him create seamless dining experiences for guests. In his new position, Gihan will oversee the culinary and service operations of all three properties, ensuring that the trio of Radisson Hotels deliver exceptional dining experiences that reflect their commitment to quality and guest satisfaction.
From developing innovative menu concepts to fostering team growth and collaboration, Gihan aims to set a new benchmark for F&B operations in the region.
