President John Dramani Mahama has urged Ghanaians to come together to rebuild the nation, emphasizing unity as the key to overcoming economic hardships and fostering national progress. In his first State of the Nation Address since returning to power last month, Mahama stressed that collective action is essential for addressing the country’s challenges and realizing the aspirations of its people. Acknowledging the economic crises affecting Ghana, Mahama reassured citizens that the difficulties are not insurmountable.

Instead, he framed them as an opportunity for innovation and national renewal. He attributed his electoral victory to the trust Ghanaians have in his ability to resolve these issues, reaffirming his commitment to leading the country toward recovery. He called on all citizens—regardless of political affiliation or social background—to take part in rebuilding the nation, ensuring that no one is left behind.

The president promised an inclusive approach to creating "the Ghana we want," urging all Ghanaians to work together toward a brighter future..
