SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- This spring, families can visit the San Diego Zoo Safari Park's Butterfly Jungle that opened for the season over the weekend for a chance to feed and be surrounded by butterflies. The San Diego Zoo Safari Park, located at 15500 San Pasqual Valley Road in Escondido, is home to a wide variety of animals and activities for the whole family, from the carousel, Africa Tram and Balloon Safari to play areas around the park and botanical tours. San Diego Zoo wants your help naming new sloth bear cubsOn Saturday, the Safari Park's Butterfly Jungle opened for the spring through April 20.
Parkgoers can walk through the aviary as butterflies fly all around you, and might even land on you as you offer them nectar, during the Butterfly Jungle Safari in the park's Hidden Jungle.
