Uniontown, formerly of Point Marion Geraldine S. “Pickle” Cartwright Perry, 65, of Uniontown, formerly of Point Marion, died unexpectedly Saturday, April 19, 2025, in Uniontown Hospital. Born May 4, 1959, in Uniontown, she was a daughter of the late Roy L.
and Alberta Moore Cartwright. She was a 1979 graduate of Albert Gallatin High School. Surviving are sons, Christopher, Ozzie and James; a stepdaughter, Michelle Fowler; three brothers, Richard Cartwright of Morgantown, Marvin of Point Marion, and Kenneth of New Geneva; five sisters, Betty Cartwright, Deloris Sines and Eva Boyce, all of Point Marion, Linda Moore of Smithfield, and Charlotte Smith of Uniontown.
“Pickle” loved children, and she had a number of beloved nieces and nephews, many of whom she helped with babysitting and raising over the years. Also deceased is her husband, Michael Perry; a daughter, Tina Johnson; and a brother, Albert Cartwright in October of 2024. The family will hold a private memorial at a later date.
Arrangements are in the care of the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to the family at 501 Morgantown Street, Point Marion, PA 15474.
