For the first time since Nov. 7, 2020, the Georgia Bulldogs lost a college football game to a team that wasn't the Alabama Crimson Tide. The No.

3 Bulldogs (7-1) were on the road, taking on the No. 16 Ole Miss Rebels (7-2) in a game that Ole Miss had made clear leading up to it, their entire roster and season had centered around this moment. Not only did Ole Miss win, but they did so in a dominant fashion.

In front of a packed Vaught-Hemingway Stadium crowd, the Rebels pulled off the 28-10 victory. The Bulldogs are now 48-1 in the last four seasons against teams not named Alabama, and while fans are upset with how their favorite team performed, they are furious with quarterback Carson Beck. The struggling veteran quarterback had another dud of a performance, throwing an interception for the fourth game in a row.

However, a video of him smiling on the bench while the team was down 12 points with 3:30 remaining in the game has sparked major outrage on social media. All smiles from Carson Beck. Hmm.

No different than on Sunday," wrote one fan. "I love seeing Carson Beck smiling and laughing on the sideline late in this game..

..pathetic," added another.

"Carson Beck being caught twice, laughing on the sideline is not going to go over well with @GeorgiaFootball faithful," commented another. "Carson Beck smiling and laughing as ole miss kicks a field goal to go up 18 with a minute left? Wild," wrote another fan. Petre Thomas-Imagn Images Beck was unable to generate any big plays for the Bulldogs, completing 20-of-31 passes for 186 yards with no touchdowns and a pick, while also being sacked five times.

The Bulldogs were outgained by 152 yards on offense by Ole Miss, and are showing glaring holes at the most important point in the season. Including Saturday's loss, Beck has now thrown 12 interceptions on the year, with nine of those picks coming in the team's last four games. With the win, Ole Miss keeps themselves in the race for the College Football Playoff.

As for Georgia, they will be hosting No. 7 Tennessee Volunteers next weekend in a game that could very well eliminate them from playoff contention of they lose. Related: Calls to Bench Carson Beck Grow Deafening After Georgia Falls to Ole Miss.
