Hollywood heavyweight George Clooney is poised to take the Broadway stage by storm in his debut performance in Good Night, and Good Luck, set for March 2025 at New York's Winter Garden Theatre. The 63 year old silver screen icon will lead the stage adaptation of his 2005 film about journalism. Earlier this year, Clooney expressed his excitement, stating: "I am honored, after all these years, to be coming back to the stage, and especially to Broadway, the art form and the venue that every actor aspires to.

" However, there's a buzz of worry among his inner circle about the impact on his family life . Clooney will have to juggle time away from his wife Amal, a 46 year old human rights lawyer, and their seven year old twins Ella and Alexander. "Amal has got her hands full with her work as a human rights lawyer and the twins are in school," the insider revealed. "They won't be able to drop everything and head over every other weekend, even with private jets at their disposal," reports the Mirror . Despite plans to fly home when possible, it's said to be a challenging period ahead.

Adding to the tension, there's "some concern" about how Clooney will handle any bumps in his Broadway journey without Amal's immediate support, the source added. Despite the swirling rumors, there may be hope for the couple to keep their love alive, given their numerous properties in the US, the UK, and Lake Como, Italy. As George unveiled his newest venture before their decade-long union hits the 10-year mark this September, a confidant divulged the possible secret to their lasting connection to Heat Magazine: "One of the big reasons Amal and George work so well together is because they're independently successful and secure in their individual fields.

" They elaborated on the couple's relationship dynamics, noting, "They also have great nannies and their houses are like mini resorts." This insider continued, suggesting that the pair maintaining "separate lives" while sharing a home has become somewhat of a light-hearted source of banter among their circle, though neither George nor Amal seems troubled by any gossip. "Most days they get together in the evening for dinner and a catch-up, but if they need to work into the night or head off to a business meeting, that's not something they sweat about," the source revealed further.
