Genting Highlands could lose its natural allure

RECENTLY, my friends and I visited Genting Highlands hoping to enjoy the rejuvenating effects of nature. We booked a one-night stay in a relatively new serviced apartment in a more pristine area of the highlands – or so we thought. We booked rooms on the upper floor, intending to get a good view the forest while enjoying the cool and fresh mountain air.

What we got instead were views of a construction site! I guess none of the rooms in this complex has a nice view of the forest since construction of commercial buildings was going on around it..
