The stock has already declined more than 75% from their recent high. The company had informed the exchanges last week that it will hold a board meet on Thursday, March 13, to consider these proposals.
The fund raising will be done through QIP, a preferential issue or any other permissible method under the law. The stock has been under pressure ever since rating agencies CARE and ICRA downgraded the company's debt over delays in servicing its debt. The management has gone on to say that they remain committed to the business but the street remains unconvinced.
