Geneva’s Riebel hits two milestones in one week

Geneva School of Boerne senior Meagan Riebel reached two basketball milestones last week playing for the Eagles. First, Riebel tallied 43 points against Holy Cross to set a school scoring record. Colton Lutz had just netted 42 points on Dec.

10, to set the record, but Riebel broke it on Dec. 13 with 43 points. Riebel scored 70 points in Geneva’s two district games that week for a 35-point per game average.



The senior also averaged 6 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals per game during that stretch for the Eagles.

Her 70-point week allowed Riebel to surpass 2,000 points for her high school career..
