"A loss of motive power whilst driving could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.
" This fault also affects the related Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6. While a recall for the Genesis fault was issued in April 2024, this has now been superseded by the latest notice. If you own an affected GV60, Electrified GV70 or Electrified G80, you can contact your nearest authorised Genesis dealer to schedule an appointment to have the software updated, free of charge.

Genesis has recalled all three of its electric vehicles sold in Australia, due to a fault which also affects the related Hyundai Ioniq range.
