On October 28th, Genesis BBQ Group, the world’s leading K-food franchise known for its popular K-chicken brand "BBQ," took Halloween celebrations to a new level. Teaming up with the travel account @seoul.southkorea, which boasts 1.

5 million followers, Genesis BBQ stole the spotlight at the largest global influencer Halloween event held in Gangnam. Over 200 top influencers from various sectors were present, and the BBQ booth quickly became the focal point of the evening. The Genesis BBQ booth was a hub attracting influencers from fashion, music, acting, and entrepreneurship fields, all eager to taste BBQ’s famous Golden Olive Chicken and other bestselling dishes.



The event demanded a minimum follower count of 20,000 for entry, drawing a highly selective guest list of social media stars who were captivated by BBQ Chicken’s flavors and engaging booth activities, such as their red-carpet media wall and the viral “APT” dance challenge. Under the leadership of Tamara T. H.

Kim, known as the youngest executive in Korea’s F&B industry, Genesis BBQ showcased its rebranding. Kim has transformed BBQ into a global cultural icon loved by youth worldwide. “The BBQ booth didn’t just catch eyes; it won hearts,” Kim remarked.

“This was about connecting people worldwide through Korea’s beloved chicken. Quality knows no borders.” The event featured live dance shows, a DJ, and a special performance by R&B artist Jword, who previewed his upcoming album Atlanta Seoul.

“BBQ’s Black Pepper Chicken is the ultimate fried chicken,” Jword exclaimed, indulging in his BBQ Chicken. “It’s unbeatable. Trust me; I’m from Atlanta!” His performance energized the crowd, aligning with BBQ’s goal of merging food and culture.

Beyond food, the BBQ booth offered a full experience, complete with a Hollywood-style press wall. Guests captured moments and participated in the trending “APT” dance challenge linked to Rosé’s latest hit. The excitement peaked with a contest giving away prizes worth 800,000 KRW, including an invite to the exclusive BBQ Village Chimakase dining experience.
