General Hospital fans are convinced Cyrus Bell is "getting rid of a witness" after Dex Heller was mysteriously stabbed after questioning him in connection to Sam McCall's death . During the Tuesday, Dec. 10 episode of General Hospital , fans were stunned as Dex was the victim of a violent attack while on police duty.
The incident took place after Dex and his fellow officers were called in to break up a fight among a group of drunk teenagers at a local holiday party. After arriving at the scene, Dex reprimanded the group, confiscated their bottles of liquor, and ordered them to all go home. But just as Dex turned around to dump out the leftover alcohol, an anonymous person appeared out of nowhere and stabbed his side with a knife from behind.
And as Dex fell to the ground in agony, the culprit made a speedy exit before Dex could ever get a glimpse at who was responsible. Luckily for Dex, he was met with good news at the hospital as he was informed that he was going to make a full, speedy recovery.
He was told that after surgery, he would be all healed and ready to attend his Christmas parties before the end of the year. As Dex recovers from the injuries, fans are trying to piece together who the stabber could be with many pointing fingers at Cyrus. This comes after Dex recently questioned Cyrus' whereabouts on the night of Sam's death.
In a newly-posted Reddit thread, one fan asked: "Why would Cyrus stab Dex? I know Dex was a little confrontational with Him but this is very Sonny level of response." To which someone theorized: "Didn't Dex ask Cyrus about seeing him at the hospital on Halloween? Cyrus could be getting rid of a witness." Another fan agreed: "Dex had just mentioned to him that he saw him at GH on the 10th floor on Halloween.
He was accusing him of not staying away from LuLu. Cyrus denied seeing LuLu, said he was there for someone else (or something like that). So Dex can place Cyrus nearby Sam at crucial time.
