Gender-swapped Gatsby only proves that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it

For those who have never read F Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby , this new ‘take’ on the seminal novel which was published 100 years ago this month could prove to be an engaging enough read. But why drag Gatsby into a readable story that already has something to say in its own right about our social media age?
