GB News star Emma Woolfe shared that Meghan Markle had reportedly been hit with a cease and desist after making a deal with Netflix.

A GB News star ripped into Meghan Markle on Sunday as they said that the Duchess "does not do herself any favours". Emma Woolf appeared on the news channel as she chatted to Anne Diamond and Stephen Dixon about the latest headlines, including the Royal's "latest blunder". Bringing up the news, Stephen asked: "What's the latest scandal?" Emma explained: "Oh dear, well, she's had lots of blunders, hasn't she, in her rise to global domination? She's had copycat blunders and choosing brand names that were actually used by other people, and that kind of thing.

"She's obviously had her Netflix and commercial ventures and her cookery show." The GB News guest then poked fun at the name of Meghan's Netflix show, getting it wrong multiple times before saying: "With Love Meghan..

. Comma." Emma went on to reel off some more of Meghan's work, including her podcast - Confessions of a Female Founder, before asking: "Anyway, do you remember when she signed the £100m Netflix deal? "It was 2021 and the Duke and Duchess signed their deal.

Part of that deal was this children's TV series, all about this little character called Pearl. That was going to be her children's TV series. "But it turns out, Pearl is actually from a British author who wrote a lovely series called Pearl Power.

It was by Mel Elliot, let's name her." The animated series was described as following a young girl "as she learns to step into her power and finds inspiration from influential women throughout history". Emma went on to explain that the author had reportedly sent a cease and desist letter to Meghan after realising that the Duchess' idea was very close to her books.

The GB News guest added that Meghan and Netflix were forced to "quietly drop" the anticipated series. According to reports, Elliott's lawyers wrote to the duchess in July 2021, stating: "The similarities between your proposed animation series and my client's work appear to be too many and too striking to be mere coincidence." Emma also shared her views on both Prince Harry and his wife as she branded them "so annoying in everything they do".

Emma added: "I think that they are digging themselves into this. Her ventures, she doesn't do herself any favours.".
