VEHARI - Like other parts of the country, a large number of citizens in Vehari participated in the Gaza March rally on the instructions of Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer, raising slogans against Israeli aggression. The rally, which started from Habib Chowk and concluded at the Press Club, saw participation on foot and motorcycles. It was led by Jamaat-e-Islami Vehari Ameer Tariq Mahmood, provincial assembly candidate Ali Waqas Hanjra, Rao Umar Nafees, Tariq Farooq Bhatti, former Al-Khidmat General Secretary Naveed Akram, Professor Farman Kausar, Al-Khidmat President Syed Javed Shah, and other Jamaat-e-Islami officials.
Speakers at the rally condemned Israeli brutality in Gaza, urged practical steps beyond statements, and highlighted Jamaat-e-Islami’s consistent support for the oppressed in Gaza and Kashmir. Palestinian flags and anti-Israel banners were displayed throughout the rally. Tags: gaza rally expresses.
