On Monday (April 14), Gayle and Lauren joined Katy Perry , Aisha Bowe , Amanda Nguyen , and Kerianne Flynn to travel to space on the tech company’s first all-female flight. However, the expedition has faced criticisms from A-listers such as Olivia Munn , Olivia Wilde , and Amy Schumer .

They love their work and they love the mission and it’s a big deal for them,” she said. “So when we hear comments like that, I just say, trust me.
