Gauri Khan, the wife of renowned superstar Shah Rukh Khan, is an interior designer who has designed spaces for high-profile individuals and many more. She also owns a restaurant, Torii, in Mumbai. Now, Gauri’s restaurant Torii is under scrutiny after a social media influencer, Sarthak Sachdeva, claimed that they served ‘fake paneer’ to him.
The influencer shared the video on Instagram and the video quickly went viral. However, in a few hours, the restaurant management responded to it in the comments section. While sharing the video, the YouTuber captioned the video as ‘Fake Paneer?’ In the video he shared, he is seen performing an iodine tincture test, on a piece of paneer served at the restaurant.
This test, which is commonly used to detect the presence of starch, turned the paneer black and blue when the iodine touched it. When the iodine touched the paneer, it turned black and blue. Sarthak declared it as ‘adulterated’ and said, “Shah Rukh Khan ke restaurant mein paneer nakli tha.
